Dubai, United Arab Emirates: One of the tallest structures on Palm Jumeirah Dubai Residence, Nakheel‘s Palm Tower has a public observation deck 240 metres above the island, offering spectacular views of the island, the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline.
The Palm Jumeirah, is one of the world’s largest man-made islands, covering 560 hectares of land and is shaped like a date palm – the national plant of the UAE.
Designed by RSP Architects, the 51-storey hotel tower lands on a common mall podium with the first 18 floors a five-star hotel by St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, and upper floors comprising 432 luxury apartments.
Inhabit’s Dubai team provided façade and BMU consulting from Schematic Design to tender, and then for construction support for both disciplines. The façade systems are unitised curtain wall, inclined glass facades with steel and glass design.
