Marina Aburas is an architectural engineer, researcher, and business development manager with a core interest in building facades. In this video, Marina illustrates her research into smart thermochromic glazing for advanced building systems and then answers questions and comments from the community.

Marina Aburas | BEng, PhD
Marina graduated from the University of Adelaide with an Honours degree in Civil and Architectural Engineering. Following work as an architectural engineer, she embarked on an international and multi-disciplinary research collaboration investigating smart thermochromic glazing for advanced building systems. She received a Doctor of Philosophy for the research on smart building façades, awarded jointly from the University of Adelaide and University of Nottingham.
She has now combined her background and passions in the façades industry, working as an Architectural Business Development Manager for BlueScope Building Components in South Australia.
