On the 8th of July, the “eyrise invites podcast” got together with Chief Business Development Officer at Staticus, Aulikki Sonntag.
Aulikki shared her thoughts and insights on the topic of sustainability and the future of architecture. The conversation covered a wide range of topics: diversity in design, interactive building processes, high-efficiency sustainability, and designing for locations based on the specific climate. One particular project Aulikki discussed in-depth was Økern Portal, one of the largest office development projects in Norway.
A key feature of this project was the use of recycled and environmentally friendly materials. 75% of the aluminum used was recycled, and the building has been recognized as one of the greenest in Norway. It promises to be a fascinating conversation with Aulikki and Andros Sturgeon. So watch the video below to learn more about how we think beyond façades to consider holistic building concepts and embrace sustainability.
