Glass manufacturer Pilkington United Kingdom Limited, part of the NSG Group, has released the second in its Ask the Expert series of videos covering different aspects of glass technology for the built environment.
The second installment of the series covers various aspects of glass technology for the built environment. Neil McSporran, business development manager for Pilkington Architectural North America, explains why glass plays a key role in helping digital displays in public spaces stay looking their best.
“As digital information becomes a more important part of how we live our lives, designers are coming up with ever more creative ways of integrating it into the built environment.
“Glass plays a vital role in this, protecting displays from the weather and the risk of damage by vandals, and choosing the right glass for the application can make a big difference to way the content comes across.”
The video provides an overview of the display glazing products Pilkington offer, including the true low-iron Pilkington Optiwhite™, the anti-reflective Pilkington OptiView™, and the reflective Pilkington MirroView™.
